About us

We are a small company based in sunny Bournemouth, Dorset. We import and stock quality professional signwriting lettering enamels, pinstriping paints and tools. We distribute across the UK and Europe. We mostly serve customers online, but we also have a small shop in Southbourne, Bournemouth. Customers can drop in to collect their orders and from time to time, just to chat about signwriting and pinstriping. We’re always ready and willing to listen and give advice where we can about the trade, and the products we stock.

Being a small company, we have the pleasure of knowing a lot of our customers personally. We both attended KKBO 10 and had a stall there, we met lots of signwriters and pinstripers, and our stall there will now be a regular occurrence. Come check us out and you can try the paint, and look at the products in person. We also attend most of the Letterheads events in the country and sometimes abroad. Our community is the heart of our brand and we pride ourselves on our friendly, family feeling vibe.

Our mission is to bring quality signwriting and pinstriping supplies that aren’t otherwise available in the UK. As well as sourcing products from the USA we are also in the process of importing from Japan. Sabre Paints plans to bring innovative products to the UK, that are inspired by tradesmen in different countries.

We love to hear from our customers and professionals in the signwriting and pinstriping industry, and we like to know what products you need that aren’t accessible in the UK. If there’s enough demand then we’ll begin to stock these items in our store.

We want to stay true to our small town store, but we plan to become a huge part of the growing signwriting community in Bournemouth, the rest of the UK, and Europe. We regularly get customers from Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, .. We can ship to all European countries.

Our customer base is on Instagram mainly (we are @sabrepaintsuk), where we share (repost) people’s work, that has been done using our products – showcase. Instagram is also a good platform to follow us on, to be up to date with our offers, new products, ..

We’re Steve and Veronika, both living and working in sunny Bournemouth and the owners of Sabre Paints.

Steve – a traditional signwriter, had the idea of starting the business and selling signwriting paints and supplies. He’s your go to for advice on what paints and tools to use for your projects, ensuring you get the best results from your Alpha 6 products.

Veronika – a photographer and computer programmer. Veronika created the Sabre Paints website and handles most of the transactions, social media and customer relations. She also regularly goes out on signwriting jobs with Steve to help out.
